Welcome to Meadow Field Alpacas. We are a small, family-run farm based in Sandridge, St Albans, offering alpaca experiences, sponsorships, workshops, and alpaca product's. By accessing our website (https://meadowfieldalpacas.co.uk/) or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. General Use

These terms apply to all customers engaging with Meadow Field Alpacas.
You must be at least 18 years of age to book experiences or workshops through our website.

All bookings and purchases are subject to availability and acceptance.

2. Alpaca Experiences
Alpaca experiences are outdoor visits to our farm to meet and interact with the alpacas.

Booking Process: Bookings must be made by contacting us directly either by phone or email.

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

Group Size: We welcome small groups only — a maximum of 5 people per visit.

Age Restrictions: Children under 3 are not permitted on Well-being Visits or the Full Package Experiences.

There is no minimum age for Paca Picnics, as these do not involve direct contact with the alpacas.

All visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

No Pets: For the safety of our animals, dogs and other pets are not allowed on-site.

Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable and can not be rearranged.

No shows: Failure to attend without notice will result in forfeiture of payment and your visit will not be rearranged.

Weather policy: We reserve the right to reschedule experiences due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.

In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or refund.

3. Sponsorship Packs
Sponsorship packs are physical, personalised, and made to order.

Due to the customised nature of these items, they are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged upon receipt.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

They are valid for one year from the date on the certificate.

4. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for alpaca experiences and are delivered via email.

Vouchers are valid until the end of the season in which they are purchased however are subject to availability. It is best to redeem the vouchers as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Under exceptional circumstances, an extension may be granted at our discretion — please contact us directly to discuss this.

Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Workshops
Workshop places are non-refundable, but bookings can be transferred to another person.

Please notify us in advance if you wish to transfer your place.

Workshop bookings are valid only for the date selected unless otherwise agreed.

6. Paca Picnics

Visitors must bring their own food.

The experience grants access to the field only and does not include alpaca handling.

No ball games are disruptive activities are permitted.

7. Health & Safety

All visitors must wear appropriate farm clothing, including waterproof footwear.

Shoe disinfection is required before entering the field.
Visitors are expected to follow all health and safety guidelines provided by our team during experiences or workshops.

We reserve the right to refuse participation or ask individuals to leave if their behaviour poses a risk to others, the animals, or themselves.

Hand sanitiser is available on location and hand washing station is on site.

7. Intellectual Property
All website content, including images, logos, and descriptions, are the property of Meadow Field Alpacas and may not be copied or used without permission.

8. Liability & Conduct
Participation in any of our experiences or workshops is at your own risk.

We are not liable for injuries, loss, or damage to property unless due to our negligence.

We reserve the right to remove any visitor behaving in a way that endangers themselves, others, or the animals.

9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time.

Updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the site signifies acceptance of any changes.

We collect personal data (e.g., for bookings and email correspondence).

Your information is stored securely and never shared with third parties.
